Game Developer (AS3 and/or HTML5)
Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Game Developer (full time) that is a skilled programmer that likes to work in a highly innovative and creative industry. As Game Developer you play an essential part of the game development team and are involved in all aspects of game development. You are responsible for most of the game programming, like gameplay mechanics as well as integration with our mobile social game platform.
Because we operate in a highly innovative industry we are looking for a candidate that is eager to learn and has a keen affinity for new game- and mobile-technologies.
As part of the Game Studio team, you will work closely with developers, designers, artists, project management and the Technology team.
We require
- A computer science (Bachelor or Master level) degree or similar experience
- A proven track record (1 to 3 years) in one of the following programming languages:
- Action Script 3 (AS3)
- HTML5, JavaScript, J2ME or similar programming languages
- A team player with strong social and communication skills
- Good writing and communication skills in English
We also prefer
- Experience developing in Eclipse / Flash builder tools
- Experience with Scrum or similar agile development methodologies
- Experience in developing for mobile platforms such as iPhone, Symbian or Android
- Familiarity with integrating social media such as Facebook
